London, March 28 (ANI): Rolling Stones is all set to headline the Saturday night of this year's Glastonbury festival.
The veteran rockers have finally settled doubts regarding their presence at the festival by confirming the slot, which was filled by Coldplay in 2011, the last time the festival took place, the Telegraph reported.
It would be the band's first time playing at Glastonbury and is likely to be their final performance after 51 years together as a band.
The rumours about the bands appearance at Worthy Farm first started last June, when sources said that a Glastonbury performance would be the last date on their 50th anniversary tour, which is continuing this year.
In October festival organiser Michael Eavis was reportedly 'desperate to get the band confirmed' and Mick Jagger added more speculation when he said Glastonbury was 'very important'. (ANI)
