Actors Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will reportedly share screen space in filmmaker Karan Johar's next film soon.
According to reports, Karan's assistant director Taran Vir Singh will direct the untitled film starring the duo. The shooting will start by next year.
Pertinently, Karan is known for casting unconventional on-screen pairs in his projects like Ranbir Kapoor-Konkona Sen Sharma in WAKE UP SID, Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor in EKK MAIN AUR EKK TU and Sonam Kapoor-Imran Khan in I HATE LUV STORYS.
Deepika is presently shooting for Ayan Mukherjee's YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI opposite her ex-boyfriend Ranbir. The film is being produced by Karan's Dharma Productions.
