After the massive box-office failure of his directorial venture Joker, and after being unceremoniously dropped from Sajid Nadiadwala's remake, starring Salman Khan, of the South film Kick, Shirish Kunder has been keeping a low profile. For over two months, the editor-turned-filmmaker has stayed away from the spotlight and spent time with his three children.
Buzz is that he may soon make a comeback, albeit as an editor. Sources claim that Karan Johar has roped in Farah Khan's husband to edit his upcoming film, Ungli, to be directed by Rensil D'Silva. Shirish is known to be a good editor and so, Karan has decided to get him on board for the film. Hope this new step works well for Kunder!
