After making her mark in Bollywood right from her debut film Dabangg, it seems that Sonakshi Sinha wants to broaden her horizons by exploring projects down South.
Buzz has it that the actress has given her nod for a South film project, which will see her starring opposite South star Mahesh Babu. It seems that the film, a period flick, is titled Shivam and is helmed by writer-director Krish Jagarlamudi. Confirming the news, Sonakshi said that the film will give her immense scope to perform and will project her in a different light. She further added that though she has a packed schedule in Bollywood, she will take time out to work on this South flick.
Sonakshi, who was last seen reprising her role as Rajjo in Dabangg 2, will be next seen in Lootera opposite Ranveer Singh and in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2 opposite Akshay Kumar.
