Arjun Rampal has of late become controversy's favourite child or so it seems. A month or so ago, it was reported that he had a major role to play in Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Roshan's separation and post that, reports surfaced that his night club LAP, in New Delhi has run into legal trouble. However, it was later revealed that these were just baseless gossips and now, the National Award winning actor has found himself in midst of a controversy again.
A few media houses recently reported that Arjun, who'll play the lead role in Vicky Singh's upcoming film Roy, is upset with the makers, as they have given a meatier role to Ranbir Kapoor, who was earlier supposed to have only a cameo appearance in the film.
Singh has denied all such rumours and in fact, in his statement to the daily, which first published the news, he had said, ''Arjun has been working on the script of Roy with me for months now. As it happens with every rewrite, everyone's roles associated with the film have been enhanced. My actors and my team are extremely excited with what we have on paper right now and can't wait to start filming next month. Also to clarify, Arjun is super excited with his part and the entire film. Has never been a selfish actor and is tirelessly working to ensure we make the best film possible.''
So many controversies in just a matter of few months... is it just co-incidence or is someone trying to malign Arjun's image deliberately?
