05 Feb 2021: Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2020 winners announced
Bringing some much-needed respite from the coronavirus pandemic, Nickelodeon India announced the winners of the Kids Choice Awards 2020 on Thursday, February 4.
The awards ceremony was earlier postponed due to the health crisis, but team Nickelodeon still received an overwhelming response from children across the country, garnering over 15 lakh votes across categories.

Development: Six new categories added this time
Nickelodeon India leveraged the widespread reach of six influencers including child actor Aakriti Sharma, actors Palak Sidhwani and Shantanu Maheshwari to attract children's attention to the awards now more than ever.
Six new categories were added to 2020 calendar such as best food enjoyed during lockdown, favorite online learning apps, favorite YouTubers, and favorite Instagram personalities, to get kids excited.
Awards: 'Taarak Mehta' rules as favorite TV show
Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma (TMKOC) maintained its popularity by bagging the Favorite TV Show award for the sixth time.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma and Shraddha Kapoor's film Chhichhore got the Favorite Bollywood Movie award.
Kapoor also got the Favorite Movie Actor (Female) award, while Varun Dhawan took home that award in the Male category.
Accolades: Badshah, BYJU's also score wins
Rapper Badshah bagged the Best Rapper/Rap Music Stars award, while Dev Joshi was chosen as the Favorite Child Entertainer on TV.
Meanwhile, Subway Surfers bagged the favorite mobile game title, while Ashish Chanchlani was the favorite YouTuber for voters.
Anantya Anand became the favorite kids' influencer, while BYJU's became the best online learning app.
Ms Dhoni and PV Sindhu got favorite sports personalities awards.
Others: Shin-Chan chosen as the best animation show
Nora Fatehi became the favorite dancer, while Dilip Joshi and Surbhi Chandana bagged the Favorite TV Actor (Male and Female) titles.
Shin-Chan was chosen as the favorite animation show.
Interestingly, award winners will participate in a virtual union, thus getting kids to know the stars better.
Viacom18 Hindi Mass Entertainment and Kids TV Network head Nina Elavia Jaipuria said new categories engaged children better.
