Former reality star, Paris Hilton, turns 35 today and she already has more than a few feather on her hat, to her credit. Paris has tried her hand at almost everything you and I would consider a fantasy. From being a reality star to a published author, the heiress has held more jobs than you might expect. Here are a few career highlights from her résumé:

Heiress – She is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. Tiaras, small dogs, boyfriends, and shopping sprees; she lived every teenage girl’s dream. Her lifestyle and rumored short-lived relationships made her a feature of entertainment news and tabloid magazines.

Model – Paris Hilton once took the runways by storm modeling the finest couture and starred in ads for fashion’s brands like Guess. She was signed with Donald Trump’s modeling agency, T Management, when she was 19 years old.

Reality star – Paris got her TV breakthrough with reality series, The Simple Life, where she starred with her then BFF, Nicole Richie. Hilton returned to reality television in 2008 with Paris Hilton’s My New BFF

Actress – She was casted in films like House of Wax and The Hottie and the Nottie, for which she earned the Worst Actress of the Decade award at the 2010 Razzies.

Political activist – During the 2004 presidential election, Paris donned a sassy tee that implored Americans to get to the polls or,  just stop breathing altogether. The choice was yours. Luckily, the rules don’t apply to Paris, who was never a registered voter to begin with.

Singer – In 2005 Hilton signed to Warner Brothers records for a pop album. Her debut single “Stars Are Blind” was released worldwide in June 2006 and quickly became an instant hit around the world. The self-titled album, Paris, was released worldwide on August 22, 2006. The album has since sold over 600,000 copies worldwide.

Business woman
–  She parlayed her media fame into perfumes and a fashion line with her endorsement; her fragrances have reportedly earned $1.5 billion. There are 44 Paris Hilton stores worldwide, with products including perfumes, handbags, watches and footwear.

Author – Paris Hilton made her literary debut in 2004, with Confessions of an Heiress, which became a New York Times bestseller.

DJ – In 2012, Hilton announced her DJ career and made her debut at the São Paulo Pop Music Festival. Although her performance was criticized, she became one of the highest-paid celebrity DJs, holding club residencies all over the world.
