Film producer Pragya Kapoor who is a big environmentalist at heart never holds back from doing her bit for nature. From advocating plastic ban and zero waste to hosting beach clean-up drives Pragya has always catered to the environment for its betterment and now she has taken this initiative a step forward. Pragya Kapoor has launched her NGO named Ek Saath – the earth foundation with an aim to create awareness about the climate crisis.

Pragya launched her NGO in a great way by conducting a tree plantation drive, an initiative she calls ‘Back to the Roots’ that also resonates with the fact that India has been one of the first countries in sustainability. She planted over 150 trees for a green Mumbai and joining her as the chief guest in this amazing effort was Malang actor Aditya Roy Kapur. In the past too Pragya has come together with several Bollywood celebrities at occasions like Republic day for beach clean-up drives. And now her NGO will also be advocating multiple causes starting with tree plantation drives, animal welfare, beach clean-ups and more.

Talking about Ek Saath Pragya says, “The entire idea behind Ek Saath is to create a better environment for our future generations. Environmental welfare has been a major concern in the past, but by taking small steps towards a greener India we can bring about a great change. For me, the environment is of utmost priority. With the ongoing climate crisis and change in the environmental conditions, I believe it is imperative to take a stand and work towards its betterment in every possible way.”

The multifaceted producer maintains an impeccable balance between her work and family is highly passionate about the environment. And she is surely setting a brilliant example for her kids by doing so.
