Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, isn’t even a week old, and he’s already doing wonders for the U.K. economy.

In a recent interview with Hello! magazine, Joshua Bamfield—director of the Center for Retail Research—estimated that Baby Sussex will bring in about $1.47 billion over the next two years.

To put things into perspective, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis, was expected to generate about $70 to $125 million for the economy, Money reports. His sister, Princess Charlotte, has produced an estimated $197 million, while his brother, Prince George, has brought in around $3.6 billion. (This is expected since he’s highest in the royal line of succession.)

So, why is little Archie worth so much, despite being only a few days old? It all comes down to the fact that Markle is American and, therefore, reaches a larger audience.

We’re not saying that Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t popular in the states—they are. But it’s not every day that a British royal marries a U.S. commoner. And since Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry has already made a huge impact on all aspects of the economy, particularly tourism and memorabilia, we have no doubt that Baby Sussex is destined for greatness (read: $$$).
