After capturing the nation's hearts when he pulled a 'grumpy face' in front of the crowds at Trooping the Colour last month, one-year-old Prince Louis took his facial expressions to the next level yesterday at the polo.

Prince Louis – along with siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, mum Kate Middleton, cousin Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and aunty Meghan Markle – made a surprise appearance yesterday at at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire.

The families were there to support Prince William and Prince Harry, who were playing in a charity polo match in memory of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the Leicester City Football Club chairman who was killed when his helicopter crashed at the club's stadium in October last year.

The photos from the day provided a rare insight into the royals' family life, and was the first time the public got to see baby Archie outside of official, posed-for pictures. But it wasn't just the photos of Meghan snuggling her two-month-old that everyones has enjoyed, it's also the series of photos of Prince Louis pulling funny faces at his aunt.

In the pictures, baby Louis can be seen trying on sunglasses that are way too big for him, sticking out his tongue and scrunching up his face as he looks up at Meghan and Archie.

As well as larking around with adult-sized sunglasses, Prince Louis also got up to lots of other adventurous things yesterday, like taking mum Kate Middleton for a walk...

After lunch, Charlotte and George enjoyed a game of football, but sadly for Louis he was a bit too young to join in.
