Aloo Paratha

Though parathas are widely consumed all over India, Punjabis consider it their first love. Some families start their day with this dish as their breakfast. When combined with white butter, happiness rises to another level. Every family makes their parathas in their own home style but here’s a simple recipe. Boil 4 – 5 potatoes and peel them. Mash them with a potato masher and add some finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander, ginger, salt, red chili & jeera powder and some chaat masala. Give this all a good mix. Keep kneaded wheat dough ready. Pinch out a ball from the dough and roll it flat and put some potato stuffing in the centre with over an inch space from the circumference. Bring the edges of the dough together and make small dimsum shaped buns and flatten them with the rolling pin to the desired size.
