Salman Khan recently held a press conference to unveil the 13th season of Bigg Boss, which is slated to premiere on 29 September at 9 pm. Ameesha Patel will make her TV debut with this show.

Talking about the new season, Salman said, “Everyone considers 13 to be an unlucky number. However, all good things happen on the 13th for me. This will be a tedha season.” The actor also said that even at this age he is still learning from Bigg Boss. “With every season, I learn from the contestants and their reactions. Main abhi seekhne ki hi umar mein hoon (I am still learning),” Salman told The Quint.

The trailer for Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Saand Ki Aankh is out. The two actors play octogenarian sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, who made made history by becoming the world’s oldest and second-oldest sharpshooters, respectively. The sisters started learning how to shoot in 1999-2000 when they were in their 60s. Together, they have won over 50 national championships and have gone on to train many shooters in the last decade and a half.

3. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Outperforms The Zoya Factor at the Box Office

It’s been a surprise at the box office as Karan Deol’s debut, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, outperformed both The Zoya Factor and Prassthanam. According to a report in BoxofficeIndia, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas earned Rs 4.5 crore in its first three days, while Sanjay Dutt’s political drama made just under Rs 3 crore, and Sonam Kapoor’s latest managed Rs 2.25 crore.

3. Sanya Malhotra to Play Vidya’s Daughter in Shakuntala Devi Biopic

Sanya Malhotra will play Shakuntala Devi’s daughter opposite Vidya Balan in the biopic on the math whiz.

Sanya Malhotra has joined Vidya Balan as part of the cast of the upcoming biopic on “human computer” Shakuntala Devi. The Badhaai Ho actor will play Shakuntala Devi’s daughter Anupama Banerji in the film.

“I am very excited to play the iconic Shakuntala Devi's daughter - Anupama Banerji. Everyone knows the achievements of the math genius Shakuntala Devi. I'm thrilled to bring on screen this dynamic mother - daughter relationship and equally thrilled to work with Vidya Balan. Also looking forward to my first association with Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra,” Sanya said in a statement.

5. ‘Ghost’ Trailer Is Filled With Jump Scares That Fail to Spook You

After scoring at the box office with hits like 1920 and Raaz, Vikram Bhatt is back with a horror film. The film is titled Ghost and the trailer for it dropped on 23 September. The movie stars Sanaya Irani and Shivam Bhaargava. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani.

The trailer begins with a mysterious murder that is most likely committed by a ghost.
