OUCH! is it the beginning of yet another social media war? A lot has been happening on the social media platform, with the latest one being Bengali actress Payal Ghosh’s allegations on filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for sexual assault and abuse which took place in the year 2014-15. Now Bhojpuri actor and Gorakhpur MP, Ravi Kishan in his latest tweet spoke about raising this issue in the parliament during the question hour to make the film industry a safer place for the female artiste.
The actor and MP tweeted, “#ParliamentQuestion के दौरान पायल घोष जी के साथ जो घटित हूवा वो घटना उठाऊँगा ताकि स्ट्रगल करती लड़कियों का शोषण हमेशा के लिए फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री मैं बंद हो ..#AnuragKashyap #PayalGhosh” Also in conversation with news agency ANI, Ravi Kishan had claimed if at all the allegations made against the filmmaker are true, then strict action will be taken against him. He further added such cases should be thoroughly investigated, adding further of women empowerment being of utmost importance. Also equating the incident to cleanliness drives begun by the PM Narendra Modi ever since he came in power in 2014, the actor mentioned anything that defames the country should be cleaned, be it cinema or an individual.

It was just 2-3 days ago when Anurag had claimed the actor turned politician was smoking weed. Finally reacting to it Ravi has said, how this allegation has left him hurt and upset and the filmmaker should have thought about it before speaking.
