According to the recent reports, the show whose first season was premiered in 2016 and second season in 2018 will going off-air in the second week of February.

One of the close source revealed the reason behind the show going off-air. The source states that there is no live audience between the COVID-19 pandemic and no film promotions by Bollywood stars. That is why the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show have decided to take a break and will reportedly bounce back once everything gets back to normal. Also, Kapil needs to go on a break and spend time with family as his wife Ginni is expecting her second child.

The same source adds that the show can return with more entertaining content after a break of three months. Earlier, there were reports about its revamp plans but they have turned out to be false.

The show is a complete entertainment package which brings the laughter out of everyone. Many Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and others marked their presence on the set of The Kapil Sharma Show. The unfortunate news of the show going off-air will surely leave the audience downhearted.
