We like to eat something like "Mukhvas" after taking lunch and dinner. This is something like sour, sweet and tangy.
Here’s the easy recipe.
- Imli - 1 cup
- Jaggery- 2 cups
- Rock salt- 1 Tsp
- Hing- 1 pinch
- Red chilly powder- ½ Tsp
- Water- ½ cup
- Powdered sugar
- Grind the tamarind/imli in a mixer
- Boil water and jaggery in a pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Once jaggery melts, add salt, hing and red chili powder and let it cook till it gets thick in consistency.
- Let the mixture cool down and then make small balls and coat them with powdered sugar.
