The 41-year-old basketball legend, Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in Calabasa, California, on Sunday morning. Bryant was one of the most successful basketball players along with being one of the masterful scorers of all times. As she recalled how it was her birthday and even the Grammy’s which she couldn’t win., she termed the day as ‘tragic’ because of Bryant’s death and emphasized on the importance of celebrating life as it is so fragile and short. She broke down multiple times before she finished what she wanted to say in the most heartfelt way. See the video here…

“Yesterday was supposed to be celebratory day and then we got tragic news about Kobe Bryant and everything changed in a second. And that’s what I want to talk about. Life is short and it’s fragile and we don’t know how many birthdays we may have. So just, you don’t have to have a birthday to celebrate, just celebrate life. And if you haven’t told someone you love them, do it now. do it! Tell people you love them. Call your friends, text your friends, hug them, kiss them.” To lighten the mood, she then joked by saying, “Be nice to people at the DMV, they’re people. Be nice to them. And I love each and every one of you. I know that you wait for tickets and you get here, and you pick out your TV outfits and you do your TV hair and I appreciate it very much. I know that I’m lucky to have a wife who loves me so much even though I don’t have a Grammy.”

Various Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities also mourned about his death on social-media and wished peace to the family who is survived after Kobe. Our deepest condolences to the family and friends Bryant and Gianna left behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this period.
