Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Kapoor Meet Rajkumar Hirani in New York

Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani met veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in New York and discussed about movies.

Neetu on Saturday 25 May took to her Instagram to post a photo of herself along with Hirani and Rishi, who is undergoing medical treatment in the city since last year.

"We both love and admire Raju so we’re super excited today !!! Spent so many hours discussing n talking movies !!! Exhilarating ????#greatdirector#simple#lovehismovies" she captioned the picture.

In January, Rajkumar was accused of sexual harassment by a colleague at Rajkumar Hirani Films, who said she was assaulted for over a period of six months, between March and September 2018, reported HuffPost India.

The filmmaker has, however, refuted the allegations and termed the claims as “a mischievous story stirred to destroy his reputation”. His name was dropped from the credits of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which was co-produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

This is not the first time a Bollywood personality has paid a visit to Rishi. Several Bollywood stars, including Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone and Anupam Kher have met the veteran actor as he recovers in New York.

Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani and his wife yesteryear star Tina Ambani also visited the 66 year old actor in New York. On Friday 24 May Rishi posted a photograph of himself along with Anil and Tina, whom he worked with in the 1980 film Karz.

He captioned the image: "How lovely to see my old friends, Tina and Anil. Many congratulations on Anshul's (son of Anil and Tina) graduation. Thank you both. Neetu missing in picture as she was preparing my dinner."
