Rishi, Madhuri, Ayushmann & More Wish KJo on His Birthday

Many Bollywood celebrities including Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sunny Leone on Saturday 25 May showered love on filmmaker/TV personality Karan Johar on his 47th birthday by describing him as the "love guru" and "the man who redefined romance in India".

Karan, who is the son of Hiroo Johar and veteran filmmaker Yash Johar, made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998. He went on to make movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil apart from producing several others.

Karan also ventured successfully into other avenues of the entertainment industry.

He hosts the popular television talk show Koffee with Karan and the radio show Calling Karan. He has also appeared as a judge on competition reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, India's Got Talent and India's Next Superstars.
