Royal Enfield has increased the prices of the Bullet 350 ABS model in the Indian market. This includes both variants of the Bullet 350 ABS: Standard and ES (Electric Start). Prices for both the affordable motorcycles in India has now gone up by up to Rs 4000.
Royal Enfield introduced the affordable versions of the Bullet 350 in August 2019. The two variants of the motorcycles were initially offered with a price tag of Rs 1.12 lakh for the Standard and Rs 1.26 lakh for the ES. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
After the new hike in prices, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ABS Standard is now offered with a price tag of Rs 1.14 lakh (a price hike of Rs 2,000).
The Bullet 350 ABS ES variant, on the other hand, comes with a new price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh (a price hike of Rs 4,000). Again, all prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
Apart from the increase in prices, no other changes have been made on either of the variants of the Bullet 350. The motorcycle continues to be powered by the same BS-IV compliant 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 19.8bhp at 5,250rpm and 28Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield is expected to bring in the BS-VI engine updates to its entire portfolio very soon. The company has confirmed that the engine updates will be made well before the new emission norms implementation on the 1st of April 2020.
With the BS-VI engine update, we can expect a further price increase on all models of Royal Enfield in the Indian market, including the Bullet 350 as well. Apart from the emission update, Royal Enfield is also said to be working on other mechanical updates as well.
Coming back to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, the motorcycle is currently the most affordable product in the brand's product lineup; despite the minor price hike. The Bullet 350 is offered in a range of vibrant paint schemes as well, giving it a fresh and more youthful appearance.
These paint schemes include Onyx Blak, Black, Bullet Silver and Sapphire Blue for the Standard Bullet 350. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES, on the other hand, comes with five different paint schemes as well. This includes Maroon, Silver, Jet Black, Regal Red and Royal Blue.
Thoughts On The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Price Hike
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is the most affordable motorcycle from the brand currently in the Indian market. The motorcycle was launched just a few months ago, with a host of new paint schemes and reduced chrome bits, giving it a more youthful appearance; hoping to attract younger customers towards the brand.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 currently rivals the likes of the Jawa motorcycles and the Bajaj Dominar 400.
