Salman Khan: I want children, but I don't want the mother
Salman Khan, at 53, is still one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood. While the Race 3 actor has often dodged the question of marriage, he would want to have kids. It is no secret that Salman loves kids, and the adorable pictures and videos of him playing with kids often make it to social media. While Salman is keen to have children, he doesn't want them to come along with a mother.
In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Salman opened up on plans of fatherhood. "I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don't want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone."
While Salman would want to have kids, marriage is definitely not on his mind right now. When asked about his marriage plans, Salman said, "Not for some time."
Earlier there were reports that Salman might opt for surrogacy. A report in Times of India had suggested that Salman is ready to follow in the footsteps of friends Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, and opt for surrogacy.
On the work front, Salman Khan is awaiting the release of Bharat. An official remake of a Korean film, An Ode To My Father, Bharat depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. Salman is reuniting with Katrina Kaif on screen after two years for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat.
The film, which also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Tabu, is set to hit the screens on June 5.
