Sambit Patra fails to answer full form of Covid-19

A video of the Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson, Sambit Patra, has gone viral on social media in which he fumbles when asked about the full-form of COVID-19.

During a television programme, Patra was seen evading the question posed by Congress spokesperson Rohan Gupta. Gupta was questioning the government's response and preparations to tackle the coronavirus outbreak that has gripped almost the entire world.

The Congress spokesperson, to mock Patra, said that if the government's spokesperson doesn't even know the full form of COVID-19, it exposes the dispensation's lack of knowledge about the deadly virus.

In the past, on the same channel, Patra was left bamboozled when Congress spokesperson, Gourav Vallabh, asked him how many zeroes are there in a trillion.

COVID-19 stands for coronavirus disease 2019. '2019' denotes the year of its origin.
