If you think you knew awkward, wait until you hear this. Sean Sagar went Instagram official with Little Mix's Jesy Nelson last night - the same evening her ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes's BBC documentary aired - featuring comments from Jesy about how she wanted to be with him forever. Eek.

In case you need a recap, Jesy, 29, shared a pair of sweet photos with Sean, 30, over the weekend. She wrote, "Everything❤️" in a post that has since amassed 640k likes.

The Our Girl actor, meanwhile, decided to post a loved-up snap on the couple on his grid last night [5 October] with the caption "The reason for my happiness ❤️"

And while many fans were over the moon for the happy couple, sharing their congratulations in the comments, others couldn't help but notice the timing of Sean's post. BBC One had aired Chris Hughes', Jesy's ex-boyfriend's, documentary about his brother's testicular cancer, Me, My Brother and Our Balls, earlier in the evening.

During the documentary, Jesy comforts Chris over possible infertility, while also saying she wants to have children with the Love Islander. She tells the camera: "The thought of the fact that he might be infertile does play on his mind a lot, I think that would worry a lot of men, I think especially for Chris because I know he wants to have kids.

"I just want to be with Chris for the rest of my life, he’s the one that makes me happy – whether we had kids or not if won’t affect anything. All I can do is just be there for him as someone that loves him, just keep an eye on him and hopefully it will be alright."

Agh, that's pretty awkward. Chris and Jesy first started dating in January 2019, before announcing their split during April 2020. Chris later admitted he was left heartbroken by the split, adding that his life was a "sh*tstorm" after the break up.

Jesy and Sean, meanwhile, were flirting on Instagram during lockdown, and went public with their relationship in September 2020.
