Shah Rukh Khan‘s birthday bash at his Alibaug bungalow was the stuff dreams are made of. Not only was the party a memorable affair, what with half of the industry being invited there, what made it even more special was that celebs actually had to take the yacht ride to and fro Alibaug and some of them even returned on a chopper. Phew, some amazing ride that must have been! But seems like the party drew attention of the authorities who are now claiming that Shah Rukh’s palatial property flouts coastal rules.

According to The Economic Times, Shah Rukh had floated a company and then ‘loaned’ the company an amount of Rs 8.45 crore to buy the farmland. However, construction was not allowed on the bought land as that would flout the coastal rules. But apparently this was ignored a bungalow was constructed there. According to a report on FirstPost, a notice has been sent to Shah Rukh’s in-laws over the same.

There were also reports of SRK’s entourage upsetting Maharashtra MLC Jayant Patil, whose scheduled departure was delayed because Shah Rukh’s yacht took longer than expected to move away from the dock. According to ANI, the MLC was to leave for Mumbai but could not board his yacht as Khan was not coming out of his own. The report further added that he later boarded his yacht by going through SRK’s.
