Every child's first love is their mommy and when they bid farewell to this world, she is the last person they think about. That's the kind of imprint a mother leaves on their child. She has a magical touch that can make any pain go away and it is her embrace that can calm us in chaos. Whether it is a biological baby, an adopted baby or a furbaby, a mother's heart is always with them. And Kumkum Bhagya fame, Shikha Singh is soon going to be a mommy. However, she is already a proud dog-mom, who knows how to keep her baby happy. (Recommend Read: AbRam Khan Made A Handmade Card For Sister, Suhana Khan, Calls Her 'Best Sister In The World')
A few weeks ago, Shikha had shared an adorable birthday post for her firstborn furbaby, Goku Singh Shah. In a lovely note, she had expressed her feelings and had shared that no matter how old he gets, he will always be her firstborn. Her post could be read as "No matter how big you get but you will always be our 1st baby. @gokusinghshah u are our firstborn & it shall remain that way forever."
On May 24, 2020, Shikha took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures with her 'darling hubby', Karan and her pooch. In the picture, we can see her flaunting her baby bump in a crop top and a pair of shorts. But it was their pooch's appearance that made the pictures more adorable. Alongside it, Shikha wrote, "Kisses galore! Why should only mom dad have all the fun, I’m gonna be a big brother too." Check it out!
Last month, in an interview with The Times of India, Shikha had opened up on embracing motherhood in the times of COVID-19. She had shared how she is managing it all in these strange times and said, "When Karan and I were planning to go the family way, nobody thought that Corona would come upon us. I had informed the production house that I would be taking a break due to my pregnancy around April, and the production house also agreed to it, but now with COVID19, I have been on a break since March. My husband is a pilot and because of the lockdown, he is at home, otherwise, he would have been travelling. Currently, we are doing all the household chores by ourselves. My husband is a technology expert and has bought me a robot-like sweeping and mopping machine, which sweeps and cleans the floor completely on its own." She had further shared, "I am cooking for the family and my pet. My mother and sister were going to join us from Haryana, but that won’t be possible now. We are near to the hospital and doctor’s clinic and they are giving us online classes on how to take care during pregnancy." Shikha also revealed that after her baby is born they will be on self-isolation for at least a year, and stated, "After the baby is born, it will be complete isolation for us, so it will be another few months before I can get back to work. With a baby around, I don’t think in these times I will be able to go out at all." (Don't Miss: Kratika Sengar Clears The Air About Hubby, Nikitin Dheer's Possessiveness, Reveals How He Tease Her)
