Sonam Kapoor is not afraid to speak her mind and we all know that. She has never shied away from expressing her views but most of the times, the actress has got trolled big time on social media for it. And in yet another instance, the actress is on the radar, this time for goofing up with the words of the national anthem. The actress has written a blog on Hindustan Times where she is giving is back to the trolls. An unabashed Sonam gave a befitting reply to those who have given her the title of “anti – national” where she said, “I’m a proud Indian. I love my country but for some of you — and you’re the bigots, not me — I become ‘anti-national’ only because I ask questions or choose to be critical. Listen to the national anthem one more time. Recall the line you heard as kids, ‘Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Issai…’”. But if you go to see, the Indian national anthem doesn’t have any of these words. No wonder Twitterati is slamming her for making such a statement. Here, check out the hilarious reactions below. (ALSO READ: Sonam Kapoor to CHILL with Gigi Hadid, courtesy Arjun Kapoor)
I love the part of our national anthem where it says mitti ki hai jo khushbu tu kaise bhulayega?

National Anthem was composed by Anu Malik & sung by Pritam. Indians will remain indebted forever to Sonam Kapoor for telling this truth

Now women can’t even have their version of National Anthem?
Society is so misogynist, sexist and capitalist.#निर्दोष_सोनम_को_न्याय_मिले

National Anthem was written by Bollywood. We were naively singing the Tagore version all these years. Thanks Sonam Kapoor for the eye-opener
