Actors, filmmakers and other members of the Indian film industry are continuously visiting Anil Kapoor’s residence to express solidarity with the grief-stricken Kapoor family, dealing with the sudden and shocking demise of Sridevi.

Close friends of the Kapoor family – Tabu, Anupam Kher, Saroj Khan, Satish Kaushik, David Dhawan, Shabana Azmi, Farhan Akhtar, Farah Khan and others dropped in at Anil Kapoor’s abode to offer their prayers and condolences to the family.

The body of Bollywood icon Sridevi, whose sudden death triggered a frenzy of grief, disbelief, and questions, was flown back to Mumbai on 27 February after Dubai authorities determined that she had accidentally drowned in her hotel bathtub. Her last rites will be performed in Mumbai around 3:30 PM on Wednesday, 28 February.

The actor, who ruled Indian cinema for around five decades, passed away from “accidental drowning” on 24 February in Dubai.
