Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in Zero in 2018. The film was a damp squib at the box office but since then, there has been much speculation about his next move. The latest buzz is that SRK is set to team up with Tamil director Atlee, who is awaiting the release of Vijay-starrer Bigil. While SRK shared the trailer for Bigil on his Twitter page, he is yet to confirm the news. Rumour has it that Shah Rukh will finally break his silence on his birthday, 2 November.
What we do know, though is that Shah Rukh will return as host the upcoming season of Ted Talks, titled Ted Talks India: Nayi Baat. The show will feature 26 speakers from different walks of life. “Ted Talks India: Nayi Baat is like going back to school, the only difference being that I have to sit on the front bench and look nice and listen to everyone expounding on new ideas,” he said at a press meet. Shah Rukh Khan will also make an appearance on Netflix in an interview with legendary talkshow host David Letterman. The special, titled My Next Guest with David Letterman and Shah Rukh Khan, will launch on the streaming platform on 25 October.
