The Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 showed drop further on its first Tuesday but surpassed the lifetime collections of Mohenjodaro.
Super 30 5th Day Box Office Collection
From the director of Queen and Shaandaar, Vikas Bahl makes a good comeback with Super 30, which is a biopic based on the life of Mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30. Thanks to the impressive the trailer of Super 30 was impressive (touched 46 million in You Tube in one month) and the well-marketed campaigns, Super 30 opened to a good Rs 11.83 crores on its first day box office which was better than Hrithik Roshan’s last film, Kaabil (Rs 10.63 crore). There was a huge growth on Saturday with Rs 18.19 crore followed by an amazing Sunday with Rs 20.74 crore.
Super 30 fifth day collection
Based on true incident, the figures of Super 30 dropped on the fourth day, collecting Rs 6.92 crores. As per early trade estimate, the earnings were around Rs 6.65 Crore on Tuesday, bringing the five days total to Rs 64.33 crore which is good enough to cross the lifetime collections of Mohenjodaro (Rs 58 crores) and become the 9th highest grossing film of Hrithik Roshan.
Super 30 is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment. The film and also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Amit Sadh, Aditya Srivastava and Mrunal Thakur in key roles. The budget is Rs 115 (Production Cost: 90 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 25 Crore).
