Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Sonu, Palak Sidhwani Bani Graduate; EXCLUSIVE Pictures From Jaihind College

Palak Sidhwani who essays the grown-up Sonu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (produced by Asit Modi, Neela Telefilms) was up on stage for her convocation at Jaihind College. Palak is now a BMM Graduate and has specialised in Advertising. HOD Dr S Varalakshmi made special mention of her show, when her name was called out at the graduation ceremony held last evening in the college premises. Naturally, Palak was grinning from ear to ear. Palak was accompanied by her brother. 

The proceedings began with a musical performance, followed by words of encouragement from Dr Ashok Wadia (Principal) and Dr Varalakshmi.

Talking EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com this afternoon, Palak said, "Vara ma'am was one of the first to know that I had been chosen to play Sonu. She has been aware how much I wanted to become an actor. She texted me back with a voice message. She was thrilled," said Palak, who also gave a warm hug to Dr Varalakshmi.

Dr Varalakshmi has held Jaihind College and its students from the BMM stream very close to her heart. This journalist was present at the convocation, his younger son becoming a graduate as well.
