There is nothing new about Subramanian Swamy’s vulnerability to faux pas, and the Rajya Sabha MP has made another embarrassing blunder when he tweeted about veteran singer K.J Yesudas’ ‘conversion’ to Hinduism. Rumours have been rife on the social media about the legendary singer’s religious conversion; Mr. Swamy didn’t bother to check the veracity of the news, but instead, posted a tweet welcoming the singer’s decision. “Let us all Virat Hindus welcome the twitter news, if true, that famous singer Yesudas has returned to the religion of his Hindu ancestors,” he wrote.
