Tik Tik Tik first look: Jayam Ravi’s first space outing has ticked us off big time thanks to a glaring photoshop blunder
Tamil cinema is all set to reach new heights with Shakti Soundar Rajan’s latest venture – Tik Tik Tik. This is Kollywood’s first space film and Jayam Ravi will be pioneering this genre as he takes on the lead act in this adventurous space flick. As promised, the makers have released the first look of this exciting project. Set against an outer-space backdrop, Jayam Ravi is seen escaping a fatal explosion. While it’s exciting that south cinema is foraying into an intriguing, the first look poster is a major disappointment! It’s a clear case of bad Photoshop as Jayam Ravi’s face is forcibly fit into the suit. This shoddy job robs away the excitement from the film. Nonetheless, Tik Tik Tik is a big deal! What’s more, the film will also star his son – Aarav. In fact, this will be their first film together. Although the poster doesn’t create a great first impressions, fans have taken to socila emdia to congratulate the actor of entering this genre! Interetsingly, Tik Tik Tik is was the name of a 1981 film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role. But here’s what a source revealed about bagging the permission to use the title “It will be a one-of-its-kind thriller in Indian film industry. The audience can relate to the title while watching the film. The makers have acquired the requisite permission to use this title. The project will go on floors in October, and a huge set will be erected in Chennai,”

This is not the only exciting project Jayam Ravi is part of. The Tamil actor is one among the leads of one fo the biggest projects of Tmail cinema – Sangamithra. The film is helmed by Sundar C. The film also stars Arya. The film intially starred Shruti Haasan, but post the films’ launch at Cannes, the actress walked out of the film stating she had received a proper schedule and a script.
