Tom Hanks said he and his wife, Rita Wilson, “will be tested, observed and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires.”

Tom Hanks, who is known all around the globe for being a legend in acting has been tested positive with the Coronavirus virus along with her wife Rita Wilson. The actor who was in Australia to begin production on his next which is a biopic on the life of Elvis Prisley announced to the world that he has been tested positive.

The Academy award winning actor said in a statement,

 “We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers, too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

Coronavirus: Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson say they have been diagnosed with Covid-19 at hospital in Australia’s Gold Coast.

Tom and Rita, both 63, are in Australia currently. Hanks added,

“will be tested, observed and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires.”

The actor also posted on Instagram announcing the same with a caption which read, “We’ll keep the world posted and updated.” See the post here.
