Jannat's mother has refused to let her daughter perform any such scenes

Colors TV’s Tu Aashiqui follows the musical romance between Pankti played by Jannat Zubair and Ahaan played by Ritvik Arora. While Ritvik is making his acting debut with this show, Jannat has been in this glamour world for almost 8 years now since childhood. According to the latest storyline, Ahaan is helping Pankti in achieving her dream of becoming a singer. As the show primarily focuses on the love story of the two, the makers have planned some lovey-dovey scenes between them which also includes a kissing sequence. But according to an online portal, Jannat’s mother has refused to let her daughter perform any such scenes. (Also Read: Exclusive! Jannat’s mother reportedly has some reservations about going all out when it comes to romantic sequences. Also while signing on the dotted line, she had ensured a no-kissing pact in the contract. She’s appalled that the makers are going back on the promise they made. Moreover, Jannat’s mother created a scene on the sets of the show when Jannat had to kiss Ritvik. A source revealed to the same portal, “A kissing scene between Pankti and Ahaan was being planned. It didn’t go down well with Pankti’s mother. And she was totally against it. In fact, later the discussion turned into an argument when the producers refused to see her point of view.”

Nowadays locking lips has become a common phenomenon on television as well. From Parth Samthaan-Niti Taylor to Rajeev Khandelwal-Kritika Kamra, some stars had to do it as the script demanded. Well, we can’t complain about Jannat’s mother’s reaction as she is only 16, and if the reports are to be believed then Jannat’s mother has a ‘no-kissing’ pact for her daughter already.
