Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Old Trafford earlier today in Premier League. The hosts had to work hard against Aston Villa to seek out three extremely valuable points. With this win, the Red Devils have levelled up with the league leaders Liverpool and have emerged as title contenders this season.

Anthony Martial scored the first goal of the night in the 40th minute, Bertrand Traore levelled up the score in the 58th minute of the match. Bruno Fernandes scored a goal in the 61st minute and gave a lead to Manchester United.

Manchester United’s comprehensive win over Aston Villa helped them to acquire the number two position with 33 points while Aston Villa is at the sixth spot with 26 points.
