Liverpool missed out on the opportunity to grab three points from their match against West Brom at home. Liverpool was 1-0 up in the game till the 82nd minute, a late goal from Semi Ajayi settled the score to end the game 1-1 at Anfield.

The Reds took an early lead when Sadio Mane registered scored in the 12th minute of the game. Liverpool is the current table-toppers of the Premier League standings but will be disappointed by themselves for not winning against West Brom.

Liverpool was forced to substitute Joel Matip for young Rhys Williams. The defender is suspected to have a groin strain. West Brom has acquired the 19th position in the Premier League standings.
