That’s what we call #2020goals!
Chopra first made her debut on the American screens in 2015 as a commanding yet charming lead Alex Parrish in the thriller series Quantico. Forbes called it a groundbreaking moment for Indian actors as Priyanka Chopra became the first-ever South Asian actor to headline an American network drama series.
The fourth instalment in The Matrix franchise, will see lead actor Reeves reprising the role of Neo in the sci-fi action series. The actor reasoned that it’s the movie’s “wonderful” storyline that led him back to the iconic role. Initially slated for a 2021 release, the movie has now been pushed to April 4, 2022.
While it is yet to be revealed what character PC will portray in the new The Matrix, fans have been ecstatic on learning the news.

Recently, Chopra also signed a two-year multimillion-dollar first-look television deal with Amazon. The actor took to Twitter to share the latest development with her fans. She stated that through her banner Purple Pebble Pictures, for which she has donned the role of a producer previously, she has always wanted to collaborate and “create great content irrespective of language and geography.”

You go, girl!
Prior to striking the deal, Chopra was already collaborating with Amazon on two television projects, Sangeet, being co-produced alongside husband Nick Jonas, and the spy series Citadel in which she’ll star opposite Games of Thrones star, Richard Madden.

While Chopra’s Hollywood venture, so far, has been limited to playing supporting roles in comedies like Baywatch (2017) and Isn’t It Romantic (2019), will the Mary Kom star yet again be given a less than 10-minute screen space in The Matrix 4 too?
Ok this is good to hear but cameo to nahi kara rahe na?

Only time will tell.
Priyanka was last seen in 2019’s family drama based on a true story, The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar. She will next be seen in Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes and is also said to be working in the adaptation for Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel, The White Tiger.
A cameo or not, Chopra has got her hands full. It’s obvious that there’s no stopping this powerhouse. After all, who’s doing it like her?
