It is time to pop-up champagne as WAR has become the highest grossing film of Hrithik Roshan ever beating his previous blockbusters like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Bang Bang, Super 30, Jodha Akbar, Krissh 3 and Agneepath.
WAR, is not only breaking the record in the domestic market but is only creating huge impact at the international circuit. On the second Saturday, the action-drama grew by an eye-popping 70% and minted an amazing Rs 11.20 crore, bringing the 11 days total to Rs 257.75 crore and becoming the highest grossing film of Hrithik Roshan beating Krrish 3, which collected Rs 244.93 crore in its lifetime at the box office. WAR is also the 2nd highest grossing film of 2019 beating URI-The Surgical Strike (Rs 245.36 crore)
WAR should beat the Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh (Rs 278 crore approx) to become the highest grossing film of 2019. In the overseas market, WAR is already creating dhamaal and has minted $9.09 Million or Rs 64.67 Crore gross till now. Out of this, the action drama has collected $3.2 million alone in North America and is now the highest grossing film of Hrithik Roshan beating Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Bang Bang, Super 30, Jodha Akbar, Krissh 3 and Agneepath.
The budget of WAR is Rs 200 Crore (Production Cost: 180 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 20 Crore). The action film is directed by Siddarth Anand and is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
