2019 has been a fantastic year for Bollywood with diverse films releasing and making quite an impact at the box office. Few action films which turned up heat in the top grossing list of 2019 were URI-The Surgical Strike which stunned with an eye-popping collections of Rs 244 crore, Manikarnika-The Queen Of Jhansi (Rs 95 crore), Kesari (Rs 155 crore) and Saaho (Rs 150 crore). Next few months were full of drama, romance and comedy which led the audience quench for a hardcore action and this is where WAR stepped in at the right moment with a record breaking opening in the morning show occupancy across India.

The advance collections of WAR which opened on Friday, have been extremely encouraging. The outstanding trailer (78 million views), chart bursting songs, public holiday and early positive reviews has led the action drama open to an occupancy of 80-85% in the morning shows across India. With this, WAR has crossed the morning occupancy range of Salman Khan starrer Bharat which opened with 60% occupancy range and can be considered as the best opening film of 2019.

As per our analysis, WAR will definitely beat the opening day figure of Bharat (Rs 41.50 crore) and Thugs Of Hindostan (Rs 52.50) and will certainly open between Rs 50-55 crore (including all languages) on its first day and will completely depend upon the word of mouth reviews.
