Dabangg 3 is yet to hit the theatres but Salman Khan has already confirmed the fourth film of the Dabangg franchise. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actor revealed that Dabangg 4 has already been written. However he reveals no details about it.
Opening up about how close the Dabangg films are to his heart, Salman says that the minute he walks into the Dabangg set, he immediately transforms into Chulbul Pandey. He adds that the cast of the film is like family to him.
Dabangg 3 is a prequel to the previous two Dabangg films. It delves into the origin story of its main character Chulbul Pandey and is a story of revenge. It is directed by Prabhudeva and will release on 20 December.
In the same interview, Salman also talks about his other upcoming projects which have been in the news for a while. Salman has confirmed that Radhe will be releasing on Eid 2020. When questioned about Radhe clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Laxxmi Bomb at the box office, Salman humbly replies that a couple more filmmakers are welcome to release their films on that date so the audience can pick and choose according to their preferences.
Salman also said that Farhan Akhtar has come to him with a script.
However, he did not drop any hints confirming or denying the project. Salman is also in talks with Rohit Shetty.
Salman also expressed his desire to merge the three universes of Kick, Radhe and Dabangg together.
Dabangg 3 will hit theatres soon. So far, Dabangg 3’s soundtrack includes ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’, ‘Yu Karke’, ‘Hud Hud’, ‘Awara’, and ‘Naina Lade’. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sudeep Kiccha. It also marks the debut of Saiee Manjrekar.
