Your Opinion: Has Shahrukh Khan become a has-been?

The three biggest Khans of the kingdom of Bollywood, Shahrukh, Aamir and Salman, are incidentally all the same age as well. They are all 54 years old in 2020. They also share, perhaps, a similar so-called beginning of the end decline in their careers, with all three of them way past their prime.

However, the Khan who seemed to have been affected the most by this decline, is also called the Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh.

Even his loyal sea of fans will have to admit that King Khan may have lost his way in the last couple of years, thus accelerating his decline at a faster rate than Aamir or Salman.

We may argue that Aamir was always known for his method acting, and now with his next film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ on the way, he could well give a much-awaited return after the debacle that was ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.

Similarly, Salman is known for brawn over brains - and even though the latest ‘Dabangg’ was less than ordinary, we can always expect him to come back with a bang, with a couple of well timed shots, and loads of dhishums, you have a winner.

But, seriously, poor SRK!

His last decent film was ‘Dear Zindagi’ in 2016, and since then, there have only been a series of forgettable outings such as, ‘When Harry Met Sejal’, ‘Raees’ and ‘Zero’.

His upcoming films don’t excite either.

Has he lost the plot - and given in to being the ‘outdated’ actor? Do you think he still has a few good years left?
