In his first major address on economy after Unlock 1.0, Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed immense faith in India’s capability to get back its economic growth.
Addressing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), he said: “I have faith in India's innovation, industry leaders, all of you. India will get its growth back. Coronavirus may have slowed us down. But the reality is today, India has entered Unlock 1.0. Getting growth back has already started. Getting growth back is not that difficult. The most important thing is that you all - the industrial units - have a clear path. The path paved by a 'self-reliant' India.”
